Needless to say, we are very disappointed. We had such high hopes for Pomagranate. Instead, we are changing our venue last minute to a more welcoming and prompt venue.
Diana and her team recently catered my wedding. The initial meeting with her and her chef Alejandro was excellent. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted, so they offered some creative options that we ended up using. She worked with our budget and created a wonderful spread at an affordable price, using all locally sourced and sustainable foods which we really appreciated. They arrived promptly, served the delicious food with a smile, and took care of setting up and tearing down everything. She even did three different types of cupcakes and a very specific two-tier cake for us at no additional cost. We had lots of compliments from our guests. Would love to work with her again! A couple weeks ago, we had dinner with our immediate families to get their thoughts on the food and venue. The service was absolutely terrible. We were told they were out of certain items from a "busy night" before. Completely understandable. However, we waited well over an hour to get our food, when we were only 1 of 4 tables with people. We were slightly compensated by a complimentary appetizer to keep us from leaving. The drinks were flat. After requesting new drinks, the drinks were still flat. When our food finally arrived, it was undercooked.
After talking, we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and still have our rehearsal dinner there. Communication was sparse through these last 6 months, and we heard nothing until we threatened to change venues. Then, this week, a week before our wedding and rehearsal dinner, my fiancée hears from Diana and we were told that they will not provide us with a buffet for our dinner, but a fixed plate instead, we can't have to room we want, and they won't staff for our small number of guests, when they were told back in February how many we would have and gave us a go. None of this is what we wanted, discussed, or agreed to.
I had my sons rehearsal dinner here. I was absolutely pleased with food, price and service. They will work with you and try to make sure that all your requests have been met. Great place for any group celebration as they have several set price menus. The day we went to talk about how we wanted things done me and my mother stayed to try the food out. They have a melted Brie appetizer that is out of this world, Thank you Alejandro and staff for making the evening perfect.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere is so peaceful. It was a nice evening out.
BEWARE! My fiancée and I heard about Pomagranate and how beautiful it is. We went for dinner one evening in February and decided to schedule our rehearsal dinner there in the large private room with the branches and lights. My fiancée talked with Diana and let her know right away that we would only have around 20 guests and that we would like the buffet option for our dinner. We were given the, "Okay. Sure. No problem." We THOUGHT we had our venue locked down!
Super enjoyable evening with live music. Enjoyed splitting the Brie appetizer and salad. One salmon and one ribeye, also to create our own surf and turf! Very well prepared and presented. Lovely service by Samuel! Only thing better would have been the original ice wine request. However, the wine list was extensive enough to still satisfy!
