Went to pick up a package on a Saturday to be told that my package was not there. I had the tracking information that stated it was. The woman was argumentative and absolutely certain the package wasn't there. Had to wait in the troutville park till Monday, spoke to another postman who said the package was there 3 days before Saturday. Not sure what that was all about. I also had a letter sent from a family member, that had hold for thru hiker written on it, that went missing and never showed up. I have a strong feeling that letter was stolen as it contained several hundred dollars in cash. I would be wary of using this post office if your a thru hiker.
