Dear Jon Fulcher, as owner of The Landscape Store I feel that you should tell the entire story about your delivery of stone. 1) I was rude to you, and I am sorry about that....a little bit. The fact is when you wanted to hook a bull dozer to my truck and tow it up the hill to your new cunstruction site I didn't agree with your thinking. I delivered stone to Blacksburg from Troutville for $100. I simply wanted my guy to dump it and get back to the office, not wait on you and your contractor to brainstorm about how to get my truck up your too steep of a grade. 2) Why would you say the stone is thin when you picked it out? I do not tell you what to order. It arrives from the quarry on pallets that range in thickness. That is how it is devided....by thickness. You could easily have picked the 2 inch thick as opposed to the 1.5 thick. 3) You saying I was late on delivery is like saying the sun will not come up tomorrow .....it's crazy. I am the most prompt person you will ever barely know. My wife and I drive seperately to functions because she is always late. 4) You said it is amazing that I am even still in business....well we opened The Landscape Store, Salem 5 years ago. Looks like my driving is pretty good....and Rud is with one "d" not two.

Rudd and his family run business are great .. Including Mama Rudd. Great customer service, great prices, he doesn't skimp. He's fast and always pleasant. Rudd pulled my son up in his tractor for a ride about 5 years ago and he still remembers that. Oh .. And it wasn't like we asked either .. Great guy running a business the right way.
Delivery was a day late (driver scheduling issues.. not a big deal) but then the driver dumped the load in the wrong place causing me to shovel the soil to the actual dump site. Called to complain.. was repeatedly interrupted.. with no offer of a discount on another product or service. Oh well...
